HARP program being modified to help underwater home owners refinance their home loans

irrespective of value.

Previously an owner could only refi if the the loan was no greater than 125% of the value of the house.

This program applies to loans owned or guaranteed by Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae only and to home owners who are current on their loan payments.
